The vision of Paguro’s creator Yen Wei is to bring together a collection of the world’s finest upcycled products, focusing on quality craftsmanship and contemporary design.

The company works alongside designers and artisans who follow fair trade principles in their manufacturing, are conscious of the environmental impact, and attempt to bring positive influences to the communities in which they work.
For instance, Sapu, a collective of artists, designers and crafters in the Indonesian town of Salatiga, transform redundant materials including rubber tyre inner tubes, plastic bottles and magazines into beautiful and unusual jewellery, bags and accessories.

The end results are unique, imaginative and finely-crafted. They work with modern materials while preserving traditional techniques which may otherwise be lost, rooting the products in the community in which they were created.
