What is Fairtrade Fortnight?
Each year the Fairtrade Foundation uses Fairtrade Fortnight to raise awareness of a particular issue.
This year the focus is on the urgent threat to the future of foods that we love and the livelihoods of the people who grow them as they face the worst of the climate crisis.
They are asking shoppers to act now and choose Fairtrade in an effort to back the smallholder farmers who simply cannot foot the bill as they adapt to economic and climate change on their current incomes.
