Individuals carry out every part of the process by hand, from softening the raw clay to shaping it on the potter’s wheel, firing it in wood-burning kilns, glazing it, and finally packing it.
The year round employment allows the artisans to enjoy a good quality of life in the rural surroundings.
The unit supports a school of 350 pupils.
