Description
The Chocolate Detective – 12 Salted Caramel Quail Eggs make an unusual and quirky gift. We are so happy to introduce a new supplier to Fair Trader – The Chocolate Detective. The Chocolate Detective uses the most ethical and delectable chocolate with utmost and complete transparency.
Chantal Coady OBE is the Chocolate Detective: a sustainable chocolate expert, founder of Rococo Chocolates, and lifelong chocolate activist.
These delicious Quail chocolate eggs are made in France. They contain an unbelievably mouth-watering salted caramel ganache. There is also a pinch of fleur de sel in the caramel to intensify the flavour.
The petite Quail is the inspiration for these eggs. The bird is relatively tricky to spot. This is mainly because of his unique ability to blend in with his environment and because of his reluctance to fly. He has an undoubtedly distinctive call which has earned him a reputation for being able to recognise the onset of rain.
