Co-op Fortnight
Co-op Fortnight is an annual event that celebrates and promotes the significance of cooperatives in our society. Taking place over a two-week period from June the 19th until July 2nd, it serves as a platform to highlight the cooperative movement’s values, principles, and positive impacts. Co-op Fortnight aims to raise awareness and understanding of cooperatives among the general public and encourages people to support these unique and inclusive business models.
Supporting cooperatives is crucial as we prioritise democratic decision-making, shared ownership, and fair distribution of profits. By choosing to buy from, invest in, or work for our cooperative, individuals can contribute to more equitable and resilient local economies. Co-op Fortnight serves as a reminder of the cooperative principles and encourages active participation in supporting our enterprises for the benefit of individuals, communities, and our broader society.
